Controller Position:

Our company seeks a highly educated and experienced individual to work as a Controller. This position is an executive position and the individual will be responsible for managing and overseeing the financial reporting consolidations for a fully integrated company. The controller individual will be part of an accounting team that is expected to deliver results under tight deadlines, and maintain focus while ensuring short-term goals are accomplished.

Responsibilities:

• Lead all financial reporting to ensure timeliness, accuracy and compliance
• Review account reconciliations and preparation of the monthly financial reports
• Lead month-end closing process
• Coordinate the preparation of all audit reports with the internal auditor
• Perform analysis on receivables and customers’ debt
• Manage and supervise the Financial Reporting, Consolidations and Accounting teams
• Serve as a liaison between business and auditors
• Prepare presentations and quarterly updates for Audit Committee, management, and CEO

Requirements:

• 10+ years demonstrated accounting/financial leadership experience in a Manufacturing Industry especially in feed or flour milling entities is preferred.
• CPA is preferred
• Experience out of top-tier public accounting firm highly desired
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and concepts
• Knowledge of auditing practices and internal controls
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, discretionary and decision-making skills
• Experience leading and managing teams
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
